Files created with Microsoft Publisher, a desktop publishing program that is part of the Microsoft Office suite for Windows, cannot be directly opened on a Mac, due to the lack of applications that can open OS X files in the PUB format. You can, however, open and view the files on a Mac after Publisher converts them to a compatible format.
1.Launch Microsoft Publisher on your PC and open the document you want to send to a Mac.
3.Name the file and select 'PDF (*.pdf)' from the Save as Type drop-down menu.
4.Click on 'Save.' You can now transfer the PDF file to a Mac user who is able to read the document and, optionally, print it.
